Nigerian forwards, Victor Osimhen and Gift Orban are currently leading the Turkish Super Lig Golden Boot race after scoring for their respective clubs last weekend.
Osimhen continued his impressive goalscoring form by finding the net in Galatasaray’s 4-0 away win over Konyaspor on Friday.
Orban, meanwhile, delivered a standout performance for Amedspor, scoring once and providing an assist in their emphatic 5-1 victory over Eyupspor on Sunday.
Both Nigerian internationals are now tied at the top of the league’s scoring chart with nine goals apiece.
However, Orban holds the edge over Osimhen in assists, having registered four compared to his compatriot’s three.
Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah is just one goal behind the duo, having scored eight times for Trabzonspor.
